Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of DevTag (“Service”). The Service is operated by PT Karya Insan Asia, located at Ihsan Residence 2, A18, Kecamatan Cipayung, Kota Depok, Indonesia (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By creating an account, accessing the admin panel, or scanning a public DevTag QR code, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

DevTag is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides QR-based access to information about physical assets (“Things”), such as availability, usage status, instructions, or ownership details. The Service is continuously evolving. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time to improve usability, performance, or security.

2. Accounts and Organizations

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

If you manage an organization, organization administrators are responsible for managing members, permissions, and data access. Please notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Misuse, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
• Upload unlawful, misleading, or infringing content
• Use DevTag in a way that harms others or violates applicable laws

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Data and Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service. By using DevTag, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your content solely to provide and operate the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and legality of all information displayed on tags and in the admin panel.

5. Plans, Billing, and Payment

DevTag offers both free and paid subscription plans.

• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance based on the selected plan.
• Invoices are issued manually or electronically and are not auto-debited.
• It is the user’s responsibility to complete payment for each issued invoice.
• If an invoice is not paid, the subscription may expire or be downgraded.- Pursuant to Indonesian tax regulations (PMK 81/2024), services provided to users outside Indonesia are treated as service exports and subject to 0% VAT. For users in Indonesia, standard VAT rates apply. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the dashboard. Cancellation will stop future invoices from being issued but does not automatically refund past payments.

6. Refund Policy

Refunds are available within 7 days from the date of payment for a new subscription, provided the request is made for evaluation or testing purposes.

Refund requests made after this period will not be eligible. Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

7. Availability and Support

We strive to keep the Service available and reliable. However, the Service is provided on a best-effort basis and may experience downtime due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

Support is provided via email and is handled on a reasonable-effort basis, especially while the Service is in an early stage.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by canceling your subscription or discontinuing use.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if:

• You violate these Terms
• Required by law or regulation
• Necessary to protect the security or integrity of the Service

Upon termination, access to your account and data may be removed after a reasonable retention period.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PT Karya Insan Asia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
